The night ended in chaos-shootings, murder, riots, and Madison Kate finds herself running for her life. Instead, she talked her best friend into going into an illegal MMA-style fight. It's a fantastic conclusion to the series and Tate got to indulge in her sadistic streak with that final scene. As the final book in the series we get the answers we needed, the results we wanted, and the scenes we dreamed of. It was packed with intrigue, danger, action, sex, and violence with a few intimate, soft moments thrown in. When they went in, they went in fully and you can't help get caught up with them. Each character stood out as their best self in this book. They are all gorgeous, intelligent, fearless, sexy. This is one of those rare books where the lead female and her men are all on equal footing. Watching the guys prove their love to her was swoon-worthy. Getting stabbed, facing down a gunfight, standing up to monsters.

It was great watching MK lower her walls. More danger, more angst, more sexy times, more intimate moments. It's time to stop hiding and take the offensive. However, MK refuses to let her man, any of her men go. The threat to Madison Kate has claimed more than one life and now Steele's life is hanging in the balance.
